Welcome

Dear Prospective Cambridge School Family:

Thank you for your interest in The Cambridge School, providing an education as unique as your child. Our mission is to provide an excellent and accessible Christ-centered education in a rich classical tradition, of measurably high quality, that prepares students to live purposefully and intelligently in the service of God and humanity.

We are presently enrolling students for Fall 2009 in Pre-Kindergarten (age 3) through seventh grades.

In order to accomplish our goals, The Cambridge School is dedicated to working in partnership within the community with parents to educate and train your child. Our desire is to equip parents to raise children who are committed to growing in Christ, know how to make wise decisions, and can engage with the world in which they live as productive citizens. As a participant in this education, your child has a life-changing opportunity to develop excellent relationships with God and other children, within a diverse setting of students coming from all parts of the city, representing various races, socio-economic classes, ages, and other cultures.

The Cambridge School emphasizes the individual learning approach to education. The school staff consults closely with you, the parent, in tailoring the program and curriculum to the individual needs of your child. A flexible, individualized approach to education makes The Cambridge School a suitable place for students with a variety of learning styles and differences.

Thank you for your interest in becoming part of The Cambridge School family. Let me personally invite you to visit our website at www.cambridgechicago.com. If you reside in Chicago or the South Suburbs, I encourage you to schedule a school visit and classroom shadow opportunity. We are conveniently located in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago, a block north of 47 th Street, and one block east of Drexel Avenue, and in Country Club Hills, off of Pulaski just past 178 th Street. Of course, we are always available to receive your inquiries over the phone at (773) 924-1200 should you have other questions that are not answered on the Web site or with the enclosed information .
